Danilo Lo Pumo
“The history of Switzerland and the rest of Europe are irrefutably linked. A common future is logical, natural and in the interests of the well-being of all. We can learn and benefit a lot from each other.”
Danilo was born in 1995 and thus belongs to the intermediate generation of Zillenials. As a political scientist, he specialised in European integration, which he now helps to shape at Volt. As a specialist at the Migration Office, he has his finger on the pulse of immigration movements to Switzerland and is therefore familiar with many of the realities of the migrant population. This is one of the reasons why, at Volt, he is committed to an inclusive post-migrant Switzerland that finds its place in Europe and thus strengthens and positively shapes the most democratic spot on earth.
